1. Our role

Akon Safeinsure is an insurance distribution platform. Policies are issued and underwritten by partner insurers, and each policy is governed by its own wording.

2. Quotes & premiums

Premiums shown on the site are indicative. The final premium, acceptance and terms are decided by the insurer after underwriting and may change before payment.

3. Your disclosures

You must give complete and accurate information. Non-disclosure or misstatement can lead to rejection of claims or cancellation of the policy by the insurer.

4. Claims

Claim decisions rest with the insurer. Our claim desk assists with documentation and follow-up but does not guarantee approval or settlement amounts.

5. Free look & cancellation

Eligible health and life policies carry a 30-day free-look period. Cancellation refunds follow the insurer’s policy terms.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Chennai having jurisdiction. Grievances may be raised with us first and then with the insurer’s grievance cell or the Insurance Ombudsman.
